Lou had some very good runs as a college head coach. I remember the Notre Dame teams he had in the late 80's and early 90's. Those teams were as stacked as any over the last two decades.

He does have that lisp which can be somewhat annoying, but he's a quote machine and he's usually pretty funny. He's actually a really good motivational speaker to listen to if you can get past how he talks.

That was a huge game back then. That ended Notre Dame's winning streak that had dated back to the beginning of 1988. That Miami team was loaded. They were out for revenge after losing 31-30 the year before in South Bend. That was the game that propelled the Fighting Irish to a national championship.

Honestly, doesn't surprise me they won, VT lost almost all of the "skill" position players on their team, most of their defense and their best corner was hurt.

ECU is supposed to be competing for the C-USA championship very much this year so I don't it was much of an upset if you watched the entire game, ECU is and will be the better team throughout the year end of story.
