West Columbia got mashed...

I mean, mashed... it was ugly. Definitely not the favorite to win the district. Our boys have a LOT of work to do.

Stafford (0-1) (0-0)
Sweeny (1-0) (0-0)
West Columbia (0-1) (0-0)
Wharton (0-1) (0-0)

If anybody didn't get the memo, yea WC got drove by B'Port..... (Score wise- 33-7). Not in offense, penetrations, or first downs.

BUT they moved the ball well and had MULTIPLE red zone attempts. 8 TO's will KILL a team. most of which were inside the 20 yd line.

I did see promising signs, but if we continue to play that sloppy..... it's going to be a LONG season.

Here's to a much better game next week.

It wasn't 8 turnovers it was 4 interceptions. Granted we didn't perform in the red zone, but we didn't make that many TO's. It was penalties!

Wharton did pretty good against Rice only lost by 6 with alot of dropped passes and some slip ups on the D but thats football... Wharton was a 37 point underdog and had to go into overtime to lose an extra point woulda sealed the game for wharton in regulation play but like I said thats football things happen I think Wharton will keep doin better when it counts

   I'm sorry that I count a "turnover" on downs as a "turnover."

4 INT's and 4 TOD's.

Most of which were inside the 20.

wharton played hard and i'm sure that the new coaching staff will continue to evaluate and make the necessary changes.
