Ennis is pushing it on the ground and pounding Belton right now at halftime. Not much of a surprise to me as Belton hasn't had much in recent years. Ennis and Waco High should be interesting this year. Here is a blog on the Waco Trib site about the game.

I figured it would be lopsided.

Not even Rodney Southern will make Belton competitive. If there's one school above all others I want to see not succeed it would be Belton. I hope they go 0-10 this season and don't play anyone within 3 TD's.

Best of luck to Waco U. dealing with Carter because the Cowboys are going to be really, really good. They played even with Trinity's starters in their scrimmage last week. They're going to be way too fast and physical for the Trojans to deal with.

I work in Midlothian and a guy I work with wanted to talk crap to me about the Carter-Lancaster game this week, with him taking Lancaster. He just doesn't know that Carter is ready to explode this year.

Too bad they didn't put 50 on the board. I'm sure they could've.
