Baylor vs. Wake Forest: The Art Briles Era begins

Baylor kicks off the season under new head coach Art Briles tomorrow night in Waco against #25 Wake Forest in a nationally televised game. Can the Bears turn things around this year, and do they have what it takes to start the season off with an upset. What do you think?

Absolutely not. Wake is too good, deep, and experienced this season for Baylor to upset them. Wake is still looking for a breakout player on offense like they have had the past few seasons, but they won't need to have found one by tomorrow. Wake rolls in this one 35-10.

Briles has not announced it yet, and a lot of people, and even the players think he will wait until just before the start. He did say he planned on using more than one. I think it will be Freeman to start with Griffin getting in some reps.

Art is a motivator and will after a year or two instill the fire in the entire program. Just hope he can get some better football players in there.

i think the Waco Tribune-Herald insinuated that Griffin is the starter with Syzmanski 2nd and Freeman 3rd...we'll see if they are right, who konws....

Wake is 23 i think really we have no buisness being anywhere to close to them but who konws....

I think Bears will hang for a quarter or two, but WF has better talent at this point. Give them time and they will have a solid program again.

Definitely a top 5 game I plan on watching this week.
Along with:
1)Juice running all over the way over hyped Missouri
2)Texas showing that they can protect against the pass
3)LSU winning by 40
4)Bama giving Clemson a great game and possibly getting the upset

I'm going with WF. They have a good shot at winning the ACC again this year.
