HOORAH MODOC, HOORAH!

Actually I like both of these teams and hope it's a good game. Marlin was fun to watch when I saw them a couple of times during their run to the finals in 2003 (I watched them scrimmage Gatesville and then saw them against the Pirates in the first round that year) and I like watching MODOC play. There's not a team in class 3A that plays a more physical brand of football than they do. It's fun to watch them run the JT sweep over and over and over and almost never get stopped. Outside of Trinity and Carter, I'd say the Pirates are the third most physical team (tied with Garland) I've watched over the last decade or so.

For La Vega to be successful in this game they must.........
1. Establish their run game
2. Dominate on defense
3. The first two don't matter because LA VEGA WILL ROLL BIG TIME!

An ex Snyder Tiger's uncle claims that La Vega looks really good this year, but he also said that Marlin looks good this year also.I'll take Marlin just because we've played them and they're well coached and have good athletes in their program.
I'm thinking Marlin by 12 or sooo...I may be wrong but good luck to them.
