Good one here, who wins?

I've enjoyed watching both these schools over the last several years so I don't care who wins. If it's anywhere near as entertaining as the 2004 title game it'll be worth going to see. Heck if it's just half as entertaining as that game it'll be worth the trip for the folks heading to Tyler.

I like that Brownwood is an option on this one. I mean really no matter what happens here Brownwood comes out on top. They're the Chuck Norris of Class 3A football! :)

It's gonna be tough for Gilmer to replace 10 on offense. I think that comes into play this week. It'll be a good game. The fans are the winners in this game.

I know why Brownwood is on this poll. Jasper has already beaten them, in 7 on 7 at the state tourny this summer. I know it was only 7 on 7, but hey, Brownwood was one of the tournament favorites. :) Bigger QB, bigger receivers, bigger everything. They deserved to be favorites. So maybe they are on this poll to give them a second chance. ;)

Wow! I must say I'm a little surprised at the results so far. Gilmer must be considered the underdog in this one by most people. That's okay, underdog or not Gilmer will win this one.

Not gonna say who I picked , but I REALLY hope I am wrong , these young Buckeyes need to grow up in a hurry, I think it may take a few weeks but I have been wrong before and I hope I wrong this time , one thing I know for sure is that the ARMY of BUCKEYES will NEVER quit , I feel this will be a leaning experience.

Don't worry, you will be wrong IMO! Did you not watch the scrimmages? I didn't see you at either one. I think the Buckeyes will be very good once again. I think they'll step up tonight and surprise some people.

I'm gonna go w/ Jasper, I think they were starting to peak late last year and will be a force this season. On the flip side, I think Gilmer has probably dropped a half step since last year.

Seriously, everyone was telling me how great Jasper was. Does this mean they are not all that great? What about Nederland and the other 4A school that everyone told us Jasper manhandled in the scrimmages? Were the 4as not very good?

those 4a's were not very good. Jasper took advantage of both teams' lack of speed.

Obviously Jasper didn't help their cause with turnovers vs. Gilmer.... but that's part of the game.
