Which teams helmet do you prefer over your beloved home town?

I honestly don't pay attention to other teams helmets.

I think the only helmet I ever noticed was Celina's, only because of their lack of a logo.

They have a C on there now, don't they??

Coolest place to go to see these.
Vanart on Speight Street in Waco. He makes them for about 200 schools in Texas and he has examples of all them on the wall.
B&B Sporting Goods on Franklin Ave in Waco has helmets of all the schools they sell to hanging on the wall. They have about 50 of them.

My favorite is the Classic white helmet with the oYe of the Cameron Yoemen.

Coolest is Grandview Zebras.

What was the school that got in trouble with some college for having their logo? Wasn't it Abilene Cooper or somebody like that? If you look at the helmet project website their are a ton of high schools with the college and even some pro logos.

I don't know if they are still the same, but Mexia played us in the State Championship and they had a black cat on there helmet that kinda gave me the creeps. Some freaky circumstances occured during the game and Vernon lost 22-21. All those black cats, I have to admit, were kinda cool.

Cooper had to change their logo and The Woodlands as well.
The Woodlands had to change theirs as it was identical to University of Wisconsin and Cooper changed due to either identical logo of K State or Wash State... can't remember exactly which logo Cooper had copied.

Burnet broke out that look after the McGee & Shipley years, I thought then and I think still, it is not as good as the metallic green with the big dog on the side they had then.

Thats a really good point!! Well, we are definitely Americans too. Of course we question anyone who wears purple if THEY are Americans, but thats another story...

Last year when Giddings played @ Wimberely, I took a picture of the coin flip in the center of the field.

The red/white/blue flags and decor on the stadium fence was a beautiful Texas patriotic backdrop to the picture. Also all the signs about Buffalo for supper, etc.....

One of the best pictures I took the whole season.
