For those that text message, do you know these terms?

1. P911- Parent alert
2. KIT - Keep in touch
3. ILU or ILY - I love you
4. CYR PA - Call your father
5. H&K - Hug and kisses
6. DBL84DNR - Don't be late for dinner
7. EM? - Excuse me
8. *VIN - starvin'
9. RUNGL8 - Running late
10. CYT or SYT - See you tomorrow

GMTA is what we mods use quite a bit amongst ourselves!!

Cuz I don't know anyody that uses these terms.



I mostly just see abbreviations for words.... and LOL.

I have still never got into using 2 for to/too, u for you, r for are, 4 for for, etc.

When I typed "4 for for" I giggled!!:D :D

Yes it is. What I've noticed ( :nerd: ) is if someone uses abbreviations when texting ME, I will use them in my replies. There is a certain :nerd: on this board that types out everything and expects the same in return. :D

My family griped about my annoying Text message ring last season....it WAS an annoying ringer that the phone just came with.

people who have ringers for text messages should be tared and feathered....especially if they text alot......
