Did the cattle (para)chute not open?

HAMBURGER HELPER? A strange sight greeted drivers Tuesday morning (August 19) at the intersection of US 271 and SH 154 in Gilmer. A dead cow showed up in the intersection. Gilmer police said that a man was transporting carcasses of two bovines in the back of his truck, when one fell out. It was dragged from the intersection by Gilmer city workers.

Yeah. I thought that was pretty funny to see a picture of a dead cow on the front page of the Gilmer Mirror. My wife picked up the paper Saturday and said, "Look! There's a picture of a dead cow on the front page!" That kinda story making the front page means there ain't much going on in this niche of the woods.
