Salado was big and physical. Ran the ball very well and connected well on passes on first offensive series. Had CS D on it heels during the first series but didn't score. After that, CS 1st defense woke up an Salado didn't move at all. The Eagles score was the result of a very nice run by either their QB or flanker on CS subs.
If you are familiar with CS Offense, this will come as a shock. They now run the Slot-T and run it quite well. One TD drive did not have one pass. I kid you not. The passing game is still there. The Defense is back and is as good as last year but now CS has a running game other than by Eskew.
They used 4 different RBs not including Hicks. All ran hard and effective.
