Since I have been reading all the BW posters complaining about BW "bashing" that is going on, I feel it is necessary to point something out:--------YAW'LL STARTED IT. Or, I should probably say that Rocket started it. No respectable 3A downlower would sit and let him run his mouth like he does without firing back. Yaw'll try to control him (you can never stop a mouth that big, you can only hope to contain it) and you will probably see the Brownwood bashing slow down a little bit.:taunt: :taunt:

We started it? On the page right now there are 24 threads to choose from. Six of them are Brownwood related. That equals almost a quarter of the threads. The threads were started by:

2 by Wimbo Pro
1 by BobcatBenny
1 by Sweetwater Red
1 by JR2004 ( I really liked that one)
1 by Nobogey 72

None of them were started by Brownwood yet all of them involve bashing Brownwood. Interesting.

Actually I would have thought it to be the opposite.
According to last census statistics the median income for a household in Brownwood was $27,325, and the median income for a family was $33,991 as compared to Sweetwater's $24,293, and the median income for a family was $29,953.
Besides when they have this, Brownwood should be able to "toot" their own horn.

You're ripping a joke by producing statistics. Ease up killer.:hand:

It would be interesting to see all the towns in the district listed. Do
you feel like doing something constructive.

BTW what does median income mean? They take out a
percentage of the highest and lowest incomes and calculate
an average of what's left?

You're ripping a joke about double wides, and trust me there twice as many double wides in Sweetwater as compared to Brownwood. However there's nothing wrong with living in a double wide.
Why worry about all the other small towns in the district? This is a comparison of Brownwood and Sweetwater correct?
The median household income is commonly used to provide data about geographic areas.

Just so everybody will know, the median income is higher in Brownwood so they can charge more taxes (school taxes) to pay for the football program that is overrated. It also helps to recruit (oops, did not say that) dads with athletic large receivers to jobs in that fair school district.

Think you got it backwards on which team is overrated big'un. Look within yawl's own program to find that. While you're at it why don't ya go ahead and change your name to "OldAss" (kinda like a "Bison"... 4 legs & all  ). Think it would be more fitting from what I'm reading.

Thanks for totally not answering my question.

I guess you think this board is solely based on rocket science as it
relates to the theory of relativity as opposed to Ohm's law
( which is: Current = Voltage divided by Resisitance).

But I digress...

Wylie posters catch alot of flak for being accused of being an
affluent district. Also Sweetwater and Snyder pretty much
mirror each other. I was curious as to where each other stood.

But don't even bother now. I'll just drop you DOWN
into the same category as Rocket.:dispntd:

Actually I would have thought it to be the opposite.
According to last census statistics the median income for a household in Brownwood was $27,325, and the median income for a family was $33,991 as compared to Sweetwater's $24,293, and the median income for a family was $29,953.
Besides when they have this, Brownwood should be able to "toot" their own horn.

How does anyone survive in either town on that income????

Is that average??

Am I above average in something???

YAY!!!

No, sorry but median income is not an "average" so to speak.

Red, I'm not sure what question you are refering to?
If you are talking about what median income is, you can read about here:
There is no easier way to explain it.LINK (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Household_income_in_the_United_States)
