watched the first part of the scrimmage, WOW...
Sweeny is loaded. I am not sure why they are not picked to win the district. They ran and passed the ball at will. TB (#3) is VERY fast (but fumbled quite a bit) but other than that, they mashed up front and had very fast running backs, and they thew and caught all over the field.

Better watch out for Sweeny

I watched the scrimmage also and Sweeny looked really good! RB #3 Is the REAL DEAL and the QB #10 is pretty good also...!! They are not very big but they have good team speed. Im suprised they are not picked to win the District but they will be in the running for it I tell you that...They looked good on both sides of the ball.

Well, I guess everybody is going to win district this year.

Let's remember who they were playing.

Not taking anything from Sweeny

I wasn't at the scrimmage but Boling only has one senior on the team and very young from top to bottom

Most didn't even play varsity last year-So take the scrimmage in perspective

no doubt Sweeny probably has some talent on the field, but I tend to agree with the above statements.....how hard is it to look good against Boling? Aren't they a mediocre 2A school? With that being said, I would not be surprised if Sweeny DID have the horses to win the district either. I think this district will be interesting to watch unfold this year.

Boling in 29-2A with favorite Hitchcock, Van Vleck, Tidehaven Danbury and Industrial

Dogs picked to finish 5th or sixth depending on different services

That was way back in 1972 when Billy Waddy played

They lost their first three games of season ( Non Distict) and went the distance
