When we get a bit further into the future, say 2012....

Will you guys pronounce it

20-----12, or 2000 and 12.....?

Twenty twelve, or 2 thousand and twelve?

I think I would pronounce it the 2nd way.

I have been saying Oh-8, Oh-9, Ten, Eleven.... I thik it is a given that it is 2000 whatever... not sure I was around then but I think thats how they referred to the 1900's. except I think it was aught-1, aught-2, aught-3.... and so on.

Anyway I can retire in '14.

Oh-12 ...there is a 0 before the 12, it wont change till we get to 2100. But when we hit the 20s it'll be just like the 1920s. "Back in the 20s".

I say two-thousand and eight. The oh in twenty oh eight is not a number; it's a letter. :D When 2010 rolls around I will say twenty-ten. just easier to say.:D

yep...you can't really say "20-oh-eight", but you can say "20-10"...that's when I'll make the switch.
