Anybody out there know how they did?

I don't know if Wharton is that bad or Yoakum has improved that much, but Yoakum beat up on them pretty bad. Wharton never scored and managed only a few 1st downs. Yoakum scored at least 4 times, maybe more. All the sophmores they started last year and the off season strength program seems to have paid off. It will be hard to tell until after they play Columbus. They moved the ball up and down the field running and passing and the defense caused many fumbles.

Doesn't sound too good for the Tigers thus far.

Remember Wharton is installing a totally new system that is drastically different from what they have run in recent years. Give them some time.
