You are right. I was watching our practice last night thinking to myself what a waste of a great night for a football game.

When the grass is dead and dry because of a lack of rain. You can literally smell dead grass in the air. Thats when you know it's time for football.

Our field looked nice and green Friday. I hear it could rain Thursday for the Connally scrimmage. :eek: :eek: :D

I didn't mean our field. Just the grass in central texas period.
