I don't know how he got first, appeared he was 2nd. Replays are so close, but with the electronic touch pads nobody can dispute his win. Won by a finger nail or less.

It is that huge reach he has. I watched it a few times from the underwater view and he won, if just barely. Phelps was still swimming when the other guy was reaching.

Cavic's palms appeared to be touching the wall when Phelps touched. What an amazing race. He is moving way up my list of favorite all time athletes.
