This is no joke. You can ge a $5 sushi sampler at the Southlake Carroll games. Nothing like a little sushi to go along with your football game.

Well - I can't think of anywhere I'd rather NOT eat raw fish...... at a sweltering, hot football game........ yuck... I guess - different strokes for different folks:eek: Just in case any of the SLC folks decide to make a Cuero game @ Gobbler Stadium, all they'll have to choose from is frito pie, BBQ on bun, hot dogs, sausage wraps and pop corn.

That sounds like my kind of football food. Not the sushi, but BBQ on a bun, sausage wraps, I might have to make a Cuero game. West went to chick-fil-a sandwiches and Little Ceasars pizza, NAS-T!

In one stadium, Justin northwest, they served chick-fil-a. That was good. I prefer the small town games that serve (real) food. Went to a playoff game in Throckmorton years ago and they served real fries with their burger. Where I grew up, they served sausage in a tortilla. Laugh, but it was damn good.

When West played Madison at Mansfield ISD last year, it was a very cold game. I went to the concession stand to get a frito pie, and the $#*% thing cost like $5 and was in a tiny stirofoam cup-pissed me off.

DISD games have turkey legs. They order extra when they know G2 will be in attendance.

The best food I've had at a football game came during the pre-game last year during our playoff game when LEROY brought me a dozen sausage rolls and several kolaches from the Czech Bakery and said it was a gift from the people of West! A friend of mine and myself enjoyed them for the next several days. :)

you're right, they do have nachos but evidently they didn't impress me and I totally forgot about them - when I find out when G2 is coming, I'll have to figure something out :D

Sushi at a football game? No thank you...

I thought it had to be fried and/or covered in gravy to be Texas sporting event food!
