Olympic Replays

How come on like SportsCenter, The Final Score, etc. they only show pictures of the events and not actual video clips? Is this some dumb IOC rule?

I don't know but I would guess it has something to do with NBC more than IOC (and the fact that so much of NBC's coverage is taped anyway, they may not want other newtworks running the tape until they have had a chance to do so)

NBC wont let them NBC is very tight over this coverage due to tape delays that they are airing. It will be even worse next week when the primetime events like track and field and other things are on tape delay. Right now swimming and gymnastics has all been live. I think like if something happens on Tuesday ESPN can show highlights on Wednesday because I saw some Phelps highlights from the day before the other day.
