I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Marion Barber and Felix Jones!:D

I'm not going to claim them as the best, but a very good pair of RBs will play for Wylie this year, Kris Gilmore and Chance Perkins. Both are 10.7 -10.8 100m guys that are quick and strong. Neither is very big at around 165-170 but very strong and elusive. Gilmore especially has a great nose for the endzone but will occasionally put it on the ground. Perkins is the epitomy of running with reckless abandon. Both are fun to watch.:)

Well it's just one homer pick thus far. There might be the possibility of some non-homer picks making it into the thread.

EDIT: Oops....Looks like there's two so far!

When I hear the word "best", I think of one thing, "Celina".

Last year I would've been inclined to say Samir Baker and whoever else gets at least a handful of carries as the best tandem. Same for DeAndre Davis. Too bad that kid didn't play on a better team. So many folks missed out on seeing a very, very good RB.

Since it's North Texas I'll go with whoever the two best backs wind up being at Carter. They're loaded for the umpteenth year in a row in the backfield. Carter will have at least 3 or 4 rotation tailbacks that would start for the majority of schools in the metroplex. Coach Wilson has no shortage of players to choose from.

Mason Hayes and whoever else gets carries for the Purple Tigers will be very formidable too. I wish that kid played for Trinity. I'd really enjoy seeing him get to run behind that offensive line instead of what he has to line up behind at Lincoln.

I see where Coppell went to a two man backfield. Bob Shipley appears to be getting away from the spread this year.

Carter's backfield won't be a tandem it'll be a basketball team...if we are talking 3A Celina is up there along with Madison and even Paris will be good (Paris is East TX but they are in a DFW district)
