Wow, that's sad. I liked Bernie Mac alot. He was really a funny guy. I didn't see this one coming.

Prayers to his family. He died from pneumonia; however, reports say that it was not related to his cancer.

Cancer? He had Sarcoidosis--never heard anything about cancer...

He was probably my favorite comedian. I really enjoyed the Bernie Mac Show and I enjoyed his stand-up as well. Anytime I hear someone say "I'll beat you til the white meat shows" I'll think of Bernie Mac.

RIP MacMan. :(

Prayers go out to his family... seemed like a genuine guy, funny too--but it came from the heart. Heard a short audio clip of him today on Fox Sports during an old interview, he recalled when he was a teen and his mother was dying of cancer and was crying in pain and Bill Cosby came on the Sullivan Show and she began to laugh--he said that was when he decided he wanted to be a comedian... so his momma wouldn't cry any more. Pretty sad day. RIP Bernie Mac.
