Stuck here in my office & don't get to go watch either :( . My daughter (whom at the age of 16 has had ACL surgery on both knees= sports career over) has somehow managed to become a trainer this year and is giving me the scoop on a daily basis though :D .

How did you know, do you have spies?? They also said the spread offense is looking especially good. Lots of zip on the ball.

Agreed. Maybe now we will stand a chance against a big school like Brownwood.

I'm thinking about driving down to see the LH/BW game. Should be a good 'un.

Better show up about 4pm ... seats will be taken fast. We have a small stadium..
Bring your folding chair just in case

Definately should be.....that is if there is any way that our fellers can stop the running offense that has been labeled "unstoppable". ;)

Sounds like our stadium. We stack em 3 rows deep sometimes around the field.

It's fun to watch. When we played LH there were a couple times I started yelling because I thought we stopped the dive back behind the line, then looked up and the wing back had the ball taking it down the other side of the field. Best hs championship football game I have seen in a long time.

I'm anxious to see BW play as well. I hear the QB is a good player. Don't know much about the other players. Good luck to both teams.

It seems to me that they are more fired up than I've ever seen them at this point in the year...The boys are definitely back!!!!!

I would say I've knocked the dust off my noisemaker and have it ready to go, but the truth is...I didn't allow it to get dusty...I've been shaking it at least once a week since the State Game!!!

I can't wait!

I agree they do seem to be hungrier. Maybe that’s because they can smell, buffalo, bulldogs and lions just around the corner.

Hey firstcat Brownwood and Burnet play Aug. 30th in SA. We should put together a road trip. Good football, good company, drinks and dinner on the River what could be better.

The first practice seemed really slow, knocked some of the dust off this afternoon, should be back at full speed Monday.

For the few number of players we have suiting up this year, they were fired up today. Doing the old blood alley drill among others, there was some hitting going on today. It's good to see the Trojans fired up for some football. I hope it carries on to next Saturday against Fairfield.
