Any schools have Media Day this weekend a day you could meet the coaches and photos are taken the Sinton Pirates are having it this Saturday in Pirate Stadium, football is surely getting here fast:D :clap: :clap:

Sure, DIboll has Meet the Jacks 8/15.

Everyone is invited to get to know all the kids and coaches that will be involved in sports in the Fall. The football players, volleyball, cross country, cheerleaders, etc will all be introduced to the community.

I think most schools have this it's just usually called "Meet the [mascot]"

Media Day, in Sinton, is different than Meet the Pirates. I mean, the coaches aren't gonna be rude to you or anything, but it really isn't the place to "meet" the coaches. They have pictures to take with their team & families. Most of them have little kids that would rather be anywhere else than in the hot sun waiting for some guy to take their picture.

Do the other schools have a fun day with the kids in the community on Saturday mornings, day after games?

At Diboll, each football player gets paired up with a kid for the entire season, and each Saturday after going over film, the team sets aside a couple hours to play football with all the little ones. It's part of Diboll's Little Jacks program.
