I think they should pick Falcons and colors would go perfect with Black/Maroon

I wonder where they came up with the options...they've been using Longhorns for a while throughout the city's lower-level sports, but that's the first I've heard of the others.

People submitted their choices through the website.

If they want to use longhorns, they have to pay UT to use it.

So Atlanta, Frisco, and Charlotte don't have Falcons, Roughriders, and Bobcats trademarked, but UT has Longhorns trademarked???

The mascot of Longhorns is not trademarked. You can't trademark those.

Using the logo is.

Emerson1

Atlanta Falcons might

"The team names, logos and uniform designs are registered trademarks of the teams indicated." Bottom of NFL website

UT has been around and using it longer. Someone else might have bobcats trademarked as long with roughriders

Cool...I just voted for Black and Silver, because that would be a great contrast to Black and Gold.

I also just found out that if I were still in high school, I'd be sent to North Forney...that kind of sucks...now when I go home, do I go to Forney games or North Forney games???

I think Forney North sounded much better. I cant believe they changed it to North Forney.

There are a lot of ways that will allow students to go to FHS. Most of the newbies to the town won't have a choice, but if families have been here a while they will have their choice.

If I lived north of 80 I would be able to go to FHS since I had brothers and sisters that went there.

It's going to be weird to have FHS fans sit on the visitor side every 2 years.

$500 - 700 -- an initial research

$3,000 - 5,000 -- registration

and it would have to be done every 10 years

and then would royalties have to be paid on stuff that was sold through the school, i.e. shirts, etc.

just because the rules are there and they are clear doesnt mean the people in forney, who arent getting what they want, wont challenge the rule.
