I think that's him on the left.

He's to the right of Daniel...so looking at the picture, he's on the left side.

Wasn't he a linebacker in high school? Looks like he's wearing #12 in the picture. What position is he playing?

according to SI, he's still a linebacker.

I hate to see all this Texas talent go out of state, but they have to go somewhere. I think Missou will be a contender again this year. I just hope they can beat OU.

pulled this from the Lufkin Daily,

After struggling to complete conditioning runs on Tuesday, safety Gilbert Moye had it even tougher on Wednesday.

Moye was leveled by a block from freshman tight end Andrew Jones. Jones then rubbed it in a bit, staringMoye down as Moye tried to get off the ground.

2008 SPRING OUTLOOK
Very athletic player who could likely provide an impact at a number of positions, but who has been slotted at free safety, and looks to work his way into the rotation as a redshirt freshman ... Opens spring ball listed at No. 2 on the depth at free safety, and will have plenty of opportunity to show what he can do, with returning starter William Moore sitting out the spring due to an injury.

Yeah, but it's not so much his size as the way he looks, if that makes sense? I was watching part of the Big XII media days when he was on. His neck looks HUGE.

Is that Ben Roethlisberger in the middle?

I think that's him on the left. Fairfield High School coaches are cringing right now as they see Chase Daniel sit on his helmet like that.

You should have seen him at receiver his senior year. Against Rusk, he made the Utube. The link is probably still around here on the DL.

In the end zone, he was tackled BEFORE the ball got to him. He threw up his big right hand, and pulled in the ball on his way down. TD. Amazingly, no flag.

Astoundlingly, how did the Texas Big 12 schools let him get out of state!?

It was for the photo shoot...they did the exact same shot for all of the preseason top five teams and sent out different issues depending on where you live.

I tried to access the video of "the catch", but apparently it has been archived. Can you post it again? Now that Spoon is famous, it might be even more fun to watch. :)
