Just saw Pineapple Express

And it was okay, didnt care too much for all the weed. The whole entire movie is pot, but there was some pretty funny parts. By far not Seth Rogans best.

That's exactly what it was, and im the same as you on the smoking position. But after a while, all the weed gets a lil old. It didnt ruin the movie at all..it was still funny. But no where near Knocked Up and Superbad.

I love Judd Apatow movies but IMO Superbad was a bit of a letdown..it was basically the generic teen movie moved up into rated R instead og pg-13, but nothing really ground breaking

you had the guy on last night trying to finally express his love, the crazy buddy who knows of this great party, and then the side bar of goofy characters

Been done many times before, just with more F-bombs

See that is just it..it had funny parts, but IMO the movie dragged in a bunch of places and was just not up to par with 40 yr old, knocked up and Anchorman

People either loved Forgetting Sarah Marshall or really didn't care a whole lot for it or were indifferent towards it. I thought it was one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. It's not everyone's type of humor though, some people just didn't get it. I was laughing the entire time in the theater but for the most part I was alone unless it was something that was obviously supposed to be funny.

If you haven't seen Zack and Miri make a Porno then you have missed the best Seth Rogan movie yet. I loved Forgetting Sarah Marshal but though Zack and Miri beat even that one. Check it out.

Super Troopers was not even close to these others. It was a Broken Lizards Production and wasn't even their best. I think Beerfest was far funnier than Supertroopers...

No way. I am saying that Super Troopers isn't as good as Zack and Miri or Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Super Troopers isn't even as good as Beer Fest which is made by the same guy. But it is better than Pineapple Express. I found PE to be very slow and not very insightful. It's like someone who had never been stoned wrote about how to act stoned. I have been around a lot of people who smoked Pot and none of them acted like these guys. other than a few funny spots it was pretty boring.
Anyone have an opinion on Surfer Dude? I thought it was the worse movie of the year....

I thought Beerfest was better, but both movies were well above average. FSM was surprisingly good and I haven't seen Zac and Miri yet. I saw Super Bad which was NOT that great of a movie and it soured me on Apatow films.

Really? I liked Super Bad. I haven't seen Beerfest though. I've tried several times to watch it and I can't get into it.

I am going to go out on a limb and say Rogen and Apatow have smoked some weed in their time..but your right, it was good..not GREAT.
