Fredericksburg info

Well, it is pretty clear in our new district (possibly the toughest in the state..I dunno) that our most likely chances of making the play offs will be at the expense of Fredericksburg. Can you guys fill me in on what you know about them? How did they do the last couple of years? What talent do they have returning this year?

All I've heard is that their lines are usually big. The info about them seems few and far between.

We all know "big" on the line doesnt mean unbeatable. There has to be someone out there who has the skinny on them.

Well by looking at their record for the last two years, I see Cameron is the only 3a team to play them. Both contest were very close. They split them. Maybe a Cameron poster can give us some insite.

F'berg went 7-5 last year! I don't see LH having a problem with them!

Fred is pretty solid.....I find their players simular to LH in athletic ability...Big Olines but not big and slow just big dudes....They aren't amazing or anything as I felt we could have easily beaten them both times

How was their defense? Do they have some speed? Also what kind of offense do they run? C-town you are going to be our best info on this thing. You faced them.

Ya know, regarding LH's talent...over the last few years, the funny thing is that they really dont seem to have one particular stand out...they have a couple who are known as pretty damned good...but they move and jell as a unit so well. This is their strength. This makes it even harder to beat them. This and their greatly improved D, of course.

I think their most talented athelete in years is the kid on defense...i forget his name!!!...who is a junior this year, i believe?

Yeah he is a natural talent. He will be a senior this year.

I don't think he has grown anymore. I'm sure he has gotten stronger but height wise I think he is about 6-0 ft or maybe 6-1.
