looks like Texas may get another tropical system this week, they're saying it could be a... Rain Maker... Tropical Depression... or Tropical Storm... will be interesting to see what happens.

Just anchor in on top of Dan Ray Hooks stadium and ride it out. Well.....not with those pitiful pressboxes they have there.

The RGV has already had their storm. We're good to go for another 28 years.

We've been fortunate in that we haven't had a direct hit in some time. I think we are due. This one in the Gulf doesn't look intimidating and the forecast right now says the same, but eventually we are gonna come face to face with a big one. My gut tells me more sooner than later.

Face to face with one of these bad boys is no fun. We got whacked really bad by Rita. Lost my office and 17 out of 19 big trees at my house. Only one tree touched the house with little damage. It was wild and we rode it out in Mt. Enterprise, TX, USA...Population 510.

Its not that the wind is blowing, ITS WHAT the wind is blowing.

Give me some of that LIME GREEN action!!!! It's 108 here right now with 2-a-days starting tomorrow with a predicted high of 107. Bring that rain up here and let it camp out, we can practice in the rain and get in even better shape when we don't have to worry about the heat stress we are putting our kids under.

The National Hurricane Center began using Boys names for storms in 1979. It was also in this year that the NHC began alternating English Spanish and French names. This is due to the the Atlantic/Gulf basin containing many countries where Spanish & French, along with English are spoken.
