View Full Version : Predict Your Team's Record for 2008

JR2004

Make a prediction on your team's regular season record, district record and post-season record...

Also if you don't think your team will win a state title who do you think will be the team to knock them out of the playoffs?

I'll start.

Madison Trojans

5-5 regular season.
4-2 district record with a 3rd place finish.

0-1 post-season with a loss to Kaufman ending our season.

That would be interesting to see a state championship trophy handed out in a semi-final game. :)

Snyder would play Celina in the Semifinals. You would play a Region III or IV team in the finals.

As young and inexperienced as the Bucs will be this year, plus having a new coach, you may be right-on about the 3-7 record. It may take a couple of years, but the Bucs will be back. Hey, look at it this way, your stadium will be even better with the new turf. I really enjoy watching games in your stadium.

Sweetwater = 6-4, or maybe 7-3. But with all the returners from last year, they have a shot at being pretty good. Should be playing for a playoff spot on the last week.

It is tough for me to predict Celina's record this season.

I am not as familiar with the kids that will be making up the O and D line.

It would not be out the realm of possibility that Celina could loose a regular season game. Celina has two teams scheduled that beat them the last time that they played.

I certainly think it is feasable that Celina could make it to the Semi-Finals or beyond.

2008 Celina Bobcats: 12-3, 13-2, 14-1, 15-1 or 16-0

Is that specific enough? :D

Caldwell's record prediction: 8-3
District runner-up, Bye in first playoff round, win over WOS (if we find a kicking game), and a loss in the third round, which would be the farthest ever, but by default due to first-round bye
