This happened not far from where I work, and I actually passed by right after it happened, as they were loading the woman into a careflight helicopter in the Alvarado High School parking lot. The stupid kid just shot the lady at point blank range, then tried to get into the cash register, but couldn't because it requires a code to get in. This absolutely makes me sick. No regard for human life.
They have a 16 year old in custody and are still investigating.
