LOL I actually feel bad for Forney...they are an above average team...they just have the misfortune of playing in maybe the toughest district in the state

Mexia beat Crockett Tuesday night 72-62, something like that. Crockett didn't prove that night that they deserved to be in the top 20. Go Mexia in the rest of District play. And if anyone reading this has the time yall should stop by a Mexia game, especially a home game. The gym gets rockin once the Cats get rollin!

Carthage has a good team almost evceryone is back from last year. Carthage won district, but lost in the first round to terrel last year in the playoffs in 4a.

You know, none of their teams are ranked but I think District 25 has the best district, top to bottom, of anyone in Region IV. Burnet might be the best team in the Region and Wimberley isn't too far behind. Heck, they might be as good as Burnet. What worries me is that Distict 30's days of dominance may be coming to an end. Aransas Pass is still an awesome team, but if they don't bring their A-game they can be beaten. Wimberley proved that last week.

Russ, I agree with you about there being some good programs in district 25, but I think Wimberley is tops in the region. I am from Burnet, and we have chances of being a good team, but Shipley and McGee are still hurt, and the team is beginning to struggle some. Wimberley will make some noise no doubt, but for Burnet to have much of a chance they need Shipley and McGee back quickly, to get some team cohesiveness going. If they are able to do that, they should go a few rounds deep, if not they may not make the playoffs, and if they do, they will have a hard time advancing. The potential is there like you said, but it looks to be a off and on season for Burnet this year. Go Burnet Bulldogs!

its funny cause none of this matters...Gainesville will just dominate like they did last year...and the only school that can stop them is Everman and god forbid they win ANOTHER state title :D

I hope you are kidding about Gainesville...they aren't very good. Everman beat them by almost 50 without their football players.

Gainesville lost 4/5 starters from last years team, including our 2 6'6" guys that were 4 year lettermen.. G-Ville is no where what they were lastyear.. We have Awesome Gaurds but no posts.. tallest person is 6 foot 2 inches!..
