If the North wins I'd put my money on Samir Baker getting the MVP. Trinity just fed the ball to that kid over and over and over and he never got tired. Haven't seen too many backs that size able to handle the workload he had.

Believe it or not, he made many catches throughout the season that were better highlight reel catches. You should have seen one of the catches he made during the Roosevelt game. He left the defender shaking his head with that one.

I guess I had too much to drink after the 'Velt game or everything that happened at the end of the game has effected my memory. :D

Is Bell going to be the starting QB for the South? I never saw him play but remember seeing a lot of his highlights on tv. I remember them saying there were several D1 school looking at him.

You went to the Mabank game?? Wow! I sat through that one in a cold and windy, 35-40 degree rain. That had to be the worst weather conditions I've sat in for 4 hours for a football game, although the Liberty Hill game was no picnic - at least it was dry. If you saw the Roosevelt game, you had to have seen that TD catch where HT caught the ball at the goal line over a jumping defender. That was amazing!
