Duped by Dupre: N.J. woman charges Spitzer call girl with identity theft

A shy dental assistant claims her good name is ruined because EliotSpitzer's high-priced hooker stole her identity to appear in a "GirlsGone Wild" video.
Amber Arpaio filed a federal complaintcharging Ashley Dupre used Arpaio's lost New Jersey driver's license inthe notorious 2003 video to hide the fact that she was a minor.
"She'ssingle, she works in a dentist's office, and she leads a quiet, veryprivate little life," Arpaio's lawyer, Robert Dunn, told the DailyNews.
"Now when someone searches her name on the Internet,pornographic material comes up. The whole incident was very shocking toher, and it has become more and more upsetting. It's like a virusthat's spreading on the Internet."
Arpaio, 26, of New Jersey,is suing Dupre, 23, and "Girls Gone Wild" impresario Joe Francis formore than $10 million, claiming identity theft, defamation and invasionof privacy.
The video was heavily promoted after Dupre gained notoriety in March for her Spitzer romp.
"Wewant to prevent this from happening again. 'Girls Gone Wild' veryeasily could have remedied the situation through a request for backupidentification. They didn't do that. It's grossly negligent," saidJoseph Fell, another lawyer for Arpaio, whose complaint was filed infederal court in New Jersey.
"Ashley has not been served in the case," Dupre lawyer Don Buchwald said, declining further comment.
Francis, who will be arraigned on tax evasion charges in Los Angeles on Monday, could not be reached.
Sourcessaid Francis is assembling a legal "dream team" for his tax trial thatincludes the two high-powered Milwaukee lawyers who helped WesleySnipes beat the most serious felony counts in his Florida tax fraudtrial.
