IH 20 to IH 45 and south is tempting, but the traffic can really be bad on IH 45 south of Corsicana as well as through the Metroplex area, especially on a Friday.

36 to Gatesville. Thake the road outside of there that goes to Moody and then hit 7 to go through Marlin that comes out in Centerville. After that its a breeze gettign to The Woodlands and Spring. You almost have to do 85-90 on I-45 so you dont get run over.

I dont liek the 20 to 45 thing because of having to hit 287 in Arlington and go thru Mansfield. Too many stops.

That would be correct. I guess Injured and I will pass each other along the way as I'm heading to Big D for my daughter's birthday. She and her husband live in Coppell (poor section). We plan dinner with both daughters and spouses, in-laws and wife and I at some tapas place, then Lake Grapevine, jet skis and grilling on Sat. Fun times, huh!
