Abby Wamback broke her leg in an exhibition match with Brazil. This eliminates our chances for a gold metal and in fact probably eliminates our chances for any type of metal in this sport. Bad luck indeed! Even with her our chances of the gold were slim but there was still hope for another metal. She was our leading scorer and is not one to be pushed around. It would be like the Lakers without Kobe in the playoffs.

I think they still have a legit shot at a medal. One player rarely makes a team in soccer. For the record this is the only girls sport I will watch. So much better than the slow motion wnba.
