I had a vendor call me last week and ask me to come play in a benefit at Prarrie Dunes. i couldn't make it but I am going to try next year.


I lived outside KC for 8 years and I love that area. If you like history, there is Jesse James home outside Kearney and down the road is an 1840's (mid 1800's anyway) woolen mill that is pretty neat to tour. It is called Watkin's Mill.

I lived in Excelsior Springs.

Whatever you do, just don't waste your time at the zoo...I've heard people say it's the worst one in the U.S. My dad went there about ten years ago and said that they literally had a couple of polar bears, a camel and a gorilla, and that was about it.
