Best Mexican fast food out there. Every Thursday in SA or Austin, you could get .99 Ritas. In my N. Texas travels, I don't recall seeing any around.

There is not one on nearly every corner like there is in SA and Austin, but there are some there. I saw a few while I was there, but I cant tell you where any of them are. You are right though, they are good.

I had Taco Cabana last week while visiting San Antonio. Without a doubt the very best fast food Mexican I've ever had.

That one has gotten my business several times at about 3 in the morning. Love the fajita nachos. I don't really care for too much else that they have on their menu though. I'll occasionally get a quesadilla, but that's about it. The one down near Belt Line is a bit nicer, but I don't go to that one as often. I'm just used to driving over to Preston.

I wouldn't even consider Taco Hell as even remotely Mexican food. It's like calling Ravioli's in a can original Italian food!!!

Taco Hell SUCKS!!!!

But yall have the original Rosa's in Midland. Dont you like it? I've only eaten at the two in Abilene, but they have very good food. I just assume the ones in Midland are just as good or better.

Yeah....I like Rosa's....but for some reason, I don't really consider them "fast food".

Did you know the guy that owns all the Rosa's also used to own all the Taco Villa's. In fact I heard he was buying them all back up now, and he is buying the Shlotzky's chain so I hear. He lived in Midland for a long time, but moved his entire operation to Ft. Worth a few years back. His name is Bobby Cox, and he sure knows how to make money. He's a bit of a turd, but he's a great business man.

They closed all of our Taco Villas several years back....all we had then were Taco Bells. Then....all but one of the Taco Bells shut down and 3 Taco Villas opened back up!!

Thank goodness, I don't like Taco Bell!!

Taco Cabana is very similar to Rosa's...just without the amazing tortillas.

I agree with those that said Rosa's is than Taco Cabana, although neither one is truly fast food.

My favorite "fast food" taco place is Taco Casa.

Stop at Rosas in Abilene and it is very comparable to TC. Wow, everywhere in the metro area...I will keep a better look out when passing through. I agree, they are both not fast food.
