This is such crap with Kazmir their is no sense in other guys being overextended because he and the Rays dont want him to pitch if you dont want to play then say so before the game and let someone else have your spot who wants to be there.

coach
07-16-2008, 12:07 AM
hell kinsler was safe too

SintonFan_inAustin
07-16-2008, 12:13 AM
another inning for Uggla to give the AL another chance to win it

That guy looks nervous fielding the baseball.

Maybe next year they might think of adding another starter to the All Stars in case if extra innings.

i say let the position players pitch before you call it a tie.

That's what happens when players are selected based solely on offensive statistics.

Like the 7 Stolen Bases tonight. You'd think Mike Piazza was behind the dish for the NL

Should they make a rule so pitchers who pitch on Sunday cant pitch? Should they extend the rosters? Two stupid questions. Hell with 32 all stars you already have about 7 or 8 undeserving guys who are on the team why put more undeserving guys on there. If teams dont want their pitchers working on 2 days they shouldnt try to start them on Sunday then start them again first game out of the all star break trying to steal starts if its that big of a deal. If you dont want to pitch you shouldnt even get to go to the game.

The best thing about this years All Star game is that representatives from both Texas teams played well.

Berkman with an RBI, Tejada with a run scored and an awesome defensive play, Young with the GW RBI, and Kinsler was on base several times.

On the other hand, you gotta feel bad for Dan Uggla. His performance was....well...uggla.

cshscougar08
07-16-2008, 10:46 AM
Yeah that was pretty ugly on Uggla's part. And Joe Buck kept saying how he was the first player in All Star game history to have that many errors. DUH!!!! No one else got to play for 8 innings in an All Star game!!!!
