Huge Rush fan!! My son is starting to like them as well. I noticed a few tunes on his MP3. I prefer their older stuff mixed in with a couple of new songs.

For some reason, Rush was just a band I never seemed to be able to get into!!

Anyone remember the hit Geddy Lee had with Bob & Doug McKenzie in 1982?

Rush actually sent in a world premier song to KLBJ here in Austin a few weeks ago. Premiered it on the Halftime show with Charlie Hodge and he put a clip of it on his website. Pretty good!

NEW RUSH!! (http://www.klbjfm.com/charlie/blogentry.aspx?BlogEntryID=100620)

Rush songs consist of 3 things:
-Drums
-Lasers
-The half-man/half-goat that is Geddy Lee.

I wouldn't know, I normally change them the minute they come on.

I have HAD to listen to Tom Sawyer in it's entirety since it is on Rock Band (or is it Guitar Hero)....anyway, one of those!!

***Off topic: What happened to Johnny Walker? :( I listened to both he and Loris Lowe (used to be Lane) when they were with KFMX in Lubbock. (On a side note, Dale looks much less dorky in that picture than he used to.)***

Anybody go see them when they came to Austin? It was a great show. It was the first time my wife had got to see them. I took my oldest to see them in San Antonio on the Vapor Trails tour. They seem to have always been a band that you "got" or you didn't much like Porcupine Tree is today only Rush really never had the crushing guitar sound.
