The one that came first! :D

I :inlove: The Doors, but they were WAY before my time!

They were even before MY time!!

I don't even remember listening to music THAT much until I was a teenager. If I had to pick what I grew up listening too, it would have been Elvis Presley, Englebert Humperdink, Ray Stevens and The Beach Boys!!:D

More than anything, my dad always played those "stupid" albums: Wacky Westerns, Goofy Greats and Looney Tunes!!

Hmm.....I would love to find those again, those were the "funnest" songs!!

Now I am on a mission!!

Only the one that had John Fogarty is my pick, but then I'm old! Problem is, when I hear Creedence on the oldies station I remember them from the original time.

Fogarty's new album is great.

I was probably a Freshman when this came out.. wore out the grooves on the vinyl album listening to it... and in reference to CCR - Cosmos Factory was my favorite album of theirs ;)Laughing (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqZUzXKDVx8&feature=related) another good one

Oh man, I'm a music junkie. I used to listen to anything I could get my hands on!

I can remember listening to the radio and trying to record songs and getting so mad at the stupid DJs for talking at the beginning or end of a song! :nerd:  :D I was young too. Like 10 years old. I'd use up all my "allowance" money on blank cassettes! hahahahahaha

I was never a kid that stayed in the house much! It's always strange to me when I see how much time my niece stays in her room. I NEVER hung out in my bedroom, that was just where I slept!

My kids were the same way, they didn't hang out in their rooms either!

Saw BTO at the Budokan in Tokyo in '76. One of the best shows ever.
Favorite Guess Who song is "Pain Train", rather obscure, post Randy Bachman.
Burton Cummings has to be one of the top five rock vocalists of all time, not to mention songwriters.

Cosmos Factory is a classic with an incredible number of hit songs that never made it to #1. CCR was originally the Blue Velvets, then the Golliwogs. They were great only for a very short time but people still remember their music.

A. I also like Crosby, Stills & Nash
B. Crosby, Still, Nash & Young
C. Neil Young (heard Prairie Wind? It's also great)

Who could forget These Eyes?:crazy1:

We sang all the time....just not along with the radio!!

I was at my brother's house on Saturday and was singing "old" songs to Kelissa....next thing I knew, my brother was across the yard singing along with me....just like in the "good ole days!":D

I did that about 8 years ago when I went off the driveway and onto the caliche on a skateboard!!!!

That was when I finally decided there are SOME things I'm just too old to do now.....ride a skateboard is one of them!!

I was always into watching the guys do their tricks on the skateboards. Not so much the skateboards themselves! :D

Did you ever play tops & marbles with the boys? After I kept beating some of the neighborhood boys they wouldn't come over & play anymore! :D

We usually just rode at the skatepark, "Bent Cement"....but they filled it in after someone died there....so, the sidewalk just didn't cut it for me anymore.

I graduated to dirt bikes then!

Looking back, I guess I was quite the tomboy!!

Sounds like it. Another reason we probably get along so well. We weren't off doing girly things like playing with dolls. If I dared try to play with dolls the guys would laugh at me & then I'd have to punch 'em!

Although, I did have some barbies.....SHHHHHHHHHHHH! :D

I never had barbies......I only remember one doll I had, "Baby Tender Love".....(I still even remember the jingle they played on the commercials!):p

Baby Tender Love
Baby Tender Love
She's a baby you can love.
Soft like a baby is
Soft to touch
and needs a lot of care!!:nerd: :nerd:
