Just as it was seen on CBS-TV in 1982

Last night I relived the 2006 Wild Card Game vs Seattle. Talk about another heartbreaker.

I especially like the shot of the pimp in the crowd at the 6:40 mark:)

Oh yeah, last years playoff loss was on NFL Replay yesterday too. No wonder I tossed and turned all night long.

Except for one year we got them in the early to mid 90s.

Cool Beans. Afterwards I switched to ESPNU because they are rearing all of last years Bowls games. Football season is almost here. :D

If you are referring to the Niners, I'm pretty sure the Cowboys beat them in both the 92 and 93 NFC Championship games. That would make 2 times. ;)

Vin Scully & Hank Stram were doing this game because they were the #2 broadcast team on CBS. Summerall & Madden had just been paired together and were slated to do the Super Bowl.

Scully didn't like being "demoted" and jumped to NBC where he began a memorable run as the network's lead baseball announcer. Who could ever forget his call of Kirk Gibson's HR in the 1988 World Series?

Or the ground ball going through Bill Buckner's legs.
