I scored a 70. Which was pretty good considering I listened to country mostly back then. They didnt have a single question about country in that quiz though. Somebody should tell them there was a lot of good country music that came out of the 70s as well.;)

Those were 80's groups, not 70's. I never listened to Wham or Culture Club but the Thompson Twins (who weren't twins) had a good 80's classic with "Hold Me Now"

Sorry....after asking Rita where the 80's link was, I took that one and that was what I was referring too. I guess I could have made that clearer.

I did better on the 70's than I did the 80's, but I didn't do that good on either one.....but all I listened to back then was HARD rock!!!

I know. When I saw "80s quiz" I immediately thought of hair bands, not confused boy bands!

Hey, speaking of the 70's, let's bring back those checkerd pants, neon belt, and big collared caoching outfits. How many of you sported that gear along with porkchop side burns?

Let's see... bangs down to my eyebrows, hair below my ears on the side and below my collar in the back, sideburns to my jaw (straight though, no chops), leather choker with wood beads, Brittania bell bottom jeans with rows of vertical seams to the knees or Star bell bottoms with a leather star sewn in the side, a loose-fitting shirt with puffed-out sleeves and 6 button cuffs, big collar, wild print of course. No neon. Mandatory tan leather shoes with about a 3" heel. The ladies didn't stand a chance...

Hey, slingshot, I was at a 4th of July parade and there was an older cat wearing red, white and blue checkered pants. Also had the red stretch belt and sparkling white shoes. I looked at my father and said, "How many pairs of those did you wear back in the day?" He said those pants were cool.

I never wore the huge bells either, no neon stuff, never got into the disco scene... listened to Bad Company, Steve Miller Band, Boston and Led Zepplin in my Trans Ams (had 3 different ones!--'75 white/maroon auto, '78 blue/blue 4 sp, '79 black/tan 4 sp).

Please, oh please don't bring back the attire of the 70's. I have burned all evidence of me being alive during those years, and would hate to think that those times are coming back around.

I grew up in the 80's but listened to 70s music as a young child, it's still my favorite all-time music.... Oh and I scored 85%. I had trouble with what's the next line... Truth is I can never remember alot of the lyrics, I don't think I know one song that I know the entire lyrics to. However there were several songs I heard first few notes and knew the answers. :)
