Has a 3A team ever went all (regular) season without being scored on?

I believe the '83 Daingerfield team did it. I could be wrong though.

my old junior high team (89 and 90 seasons) went undefeated, and unscored upon in both our 7th grade and 8th grade years.

We didn't get scored on until the 5th week of our freshman season.

Daingerfield had 8 pts scored on them in 83. A safety in the first game against Kilgore, 6 pts by Carthage in game 3 and then went on to post 13 consecutive shutouts to finish 16-0.

The amazing part is that the defense scored 72 pts that year and only gave up 8.

I personally don't anyone will ever best what Daingerfield did in '83!

One the same note, Gainesville is having a whale of a defensive year, something like 35 points scored on them in 8 games! You gotta love that hard nosed defense. Congrats..........
