According to what I just heard on the radio , 5 games went into extra innings last night and that is a record for the most on one date. The Rangers part were that they were one of the 5 games (lost 11-10 to Angels in 11) Broke the record for 4 games in extras, that has happened twice. Another ironic twist to the record, the A's were part of all three dates and won all all 3 games. This is not confirmed by research , just heard on radio
