View Full Version : Humble Opening 5th school in '09

Summer Creek High School will be the 5th school to open in 2009 by Humble I.S.D., it's expected to be completed in April. The growth in Texas is spawning a trend in building new state of the art high schools. The new school will on 67 acres of land. approximately 435,000 square feet to house 3,200 students. Expect its first varsity football season around 2010 or 2012 may be placed in Class 4A or 5A

Mascot: Bulldogs
Colors: Crimson and Gold

I wonder which schools they'll pull kids from? Probably Humble HS and Atascocita HS.

Humble will have their own district before long, like Katy, Cy-Fair, and Fort Bend schools...when I was in high school Humble and Kingwood were in my school's district, they had some good teams up in Humble....

I don't know. I think that the way Kingwood Park's boundaries are done they won't ever be larger than 4A, at least that is the way they tell it 'round here.

I'm not sure how much more land is in Humble ISD, but I bet they wish they hadn't given away the land that the airport is on now.:doh: :doh:
