Things don't look too good for 21-3A

Buna beating Bridge City was an upset for sure. Anahuac barely got by Kountze 41 - 33. Back and forth all night between these two teams. If 2 out of 3 of the expected playoff teams from this district are having this much trouble with the 2 worst teams of the district this late in the season, it might very well mean an early exit from the playoffs for Dist. 21-3A. Maybe it was just a flat night for BC and Anahuac. But, I expected both to win by at least 21. Are Kountze and Buna getting more competitive, or is the talent level in 21-3A just down this year? Anybody? Just my take.

Ive always thought Buna had a good team they just have no depth. The only thing that I can think happened is that BC and Anahuac were overlooking the games this week and looking for their matchup next week.
