Well, I am new to this board and I made it to my 10th post. How can some of you have over 20000?? Throw some names out here: List your top five 3a pre district matchups. Also, will home field matter in these matchups?

Jasper & Kirbyville, Yes home field will make a huge difference in this one.

Jasper vs Gilmer @ Tyler - like a home game for Gilmer, so yes homefield advantage

Brownwood @ Liberty Hill - home field advantage: only for the fans

Celina @ Whitehouse - home field advantage: toss up

Caldwell @ Bellville - home field advantage: pasture of pain - yes

Beeville @ Cuero - home field advantage: very slight

West Oso @ Port Isabel - home field advantage: YES!

Hey Sinton - is West Oso going to be able to stay with PI? Also, do you guys lose athletes to Cal and GP? Just curious..

The jury is still out on West Oso. I really wasn't impressed with them last year. As for your second question, I've never really heard of any athletes leaving Calallen or GP.

Should be a decent match up between 2 supposed contenders in the region.

Those are definitely some tough matchups, but I don't see us losing more than one......maybe none, at least that's my hope, being a homer and all. Don't forget about the season finale @ Tatum. That's one tough place to play!
