It's funny to see this thread. I've quoted lines from this flick for the last few years to my teenage and pre-teen daughter, to the point that they want to see the movie and why dad thinks it's so funny. Just rented it. I'm curious to see if it'll live up to the humor hype (in their eyes) I've expressed to them.

Gleason played the funniest character ever in these three movies. There were MANY funny lines, but the one that I always come back to is, "There ain't no way...NO WAY...that you could come from my loins. As soon as we get home, I'm gonna punch yo momma in the mouth!"

Classic stuff for sure.

A few more enjoyable moments...

Junior: "Daddy, I'm scared!"

Smokey: "I know. I can smell it!"

Smokey: "Where's the can? I gotta take a squirt."

Smokey (speaking to a female cop):
"Just what do you think you're doing?

Female Cop: "I'm writing you a ticket because you're parked illegally and this vehicle is a piece of crap."

Smokey: "You women's lib some b#@ch!"

Smokey: (seeing a "group activity" in a hotel room)

Junior: "What is it, Daddy?"

Smokey: "Looks like one of those Union meetings."

Junior (attempting to open the door)

Smokey: "Don't get too close. You might get a Herpes on you."

Smokey: "It happens every time one of those dancers starts poon-t@nging around with those show-folk fags!"

.........................................

Junior tells the road crew who is painting stripes on the road to move out of the way. The workers spray white paint on his face...

Junior: "Daddy, look what they did?"

Smokey: "Well, put on a little lipstick and I'll drop you off at the gay bar."

Jackie Gleason's son Junior Justice was played by Mike Henry. He was a former pro football linebacker for Pittsburgh (1958 to 1961) and Los Angeles (1962 to 1964). He gave up his career in pro football for acting and was in many movies and tv series. He starred in three Tarzan movies in the 60s which include 1966's Tarzan and the Valley of Gold. He also was in John Wayne's movie called Rio Lobo where he starred as Sherriff "Blue Tom" Henricks and he did a good job in that movie as the bad sheriff.
