I loved the Little Rascals, I just read that "Spanky" joined the cast when he was 3!!!! No wonder he looks so short in that picture.....HE WAS!!!!

Only two of the Our Gang guys made it into adult entertainment and one of them (Jackie Cooper) is behind and to the left of Spanky. The other one is Robert Blake and I think he came a little later.

Spanky was a Texas (Dennison) boy.

I just noticed on that site that I posted that they are saying "Darla Hood's
name on the show was "Cookie".

She was always Darla in the shows I watched!!

I went to that website and found that Robert Blake's character was named was Mickey. I think he is the taller kid standing next to "Buckwheat" (William Thomas), the black kid. Yes, although the smaller kid in the front, "Spanky", looks like a young Robert Blake, it is not. It is George McFarland. Thanks for the website. It's interesting reading their biographies. Several of them died at an early age, some violently. It's really sad.:(

It IS sad. I don't guess I never knew their was a difference between "Our Gang" and "The little Rascals"...quite a few new characters between the two!

Have you ever heard of the band "Uncle Nasty" or "Mister Nasty"....I can't remember for sure.....but their lead singer was an Axl Rose lookalike....except he was only about 4 ft tall!!!
