The teams played great as Houston beat San Antonio 82 to 81 in a game that could have gone either way. Tina Thompson got the winning shot with two seconds left.
The only thing that ruined it was that the officials did a terrible job even though they were terrible both ways. When the ball went out of bounds several times they gave each other puzzled looks as to who did it go out on. No look at the replays and I think they messed up a few times but they did it both ways with a slight advantage to Houston which unfortunately might have decided a close game. But the ladies played good and it was a great game and hopefully the refs will improve as the years go on.
