Saw Reckless today at Waterloo Records in Austin and I heard several of the new songs on the CD and they are great. I also picked up the CD whole thing is quite good as well.

They're my favorite group, and I love the new album minus "American Blood"... I'm not too big on politics in my music, whether I agree with the opinion or not...

I saw them once a few years back. They put on a good show. The new CD sounds great.

honestly, it's not the view that bugs me... it's the chance they may turn their shows into "political opinion night"... I doubt they will, but you never know... so many TX Music fans have their heads so far up the musicians asses they'll just follow along, and the band will feed off of those fans...

I've agreed with a couple of Texas musicians who have expressed their opinions on stage and STILL rolled my eyes at it... cuz I didn't pay $15+ for politics, I can get that on CNN etc... I wanna hear your music about heartbreak, fun times and the road etc... keep your political crap in your bus or whatever, whether I agree with it or not...

I saw Reckless Kelly in Galveston at Mardi Gras a few years back. They souded pretty good despite playing on a flatbed trailer in a parking lot.
